So I saw some ideas of fanfics and some OC's too, so I thought I may post this.

I have an idea of a fic, going about my main char; Spykion. He's the son of Tapion and an human (black!) woman. Tapion's timetravelling let him rescue his brother and led him to Earth, where he found his love and became the ambassador of Konats.
When I invented him, he was a bit like Trunks; his time was devastated by people superior to him (in this case, it was a dimensional travelling alien species with a large armada) and he returned to the past to not let it happen.

However, after seeing and playing DBO, the idea changed a bit. He's native of age 1000 and is almost 16 at the start of the series. He goes to High School and is hometrained by his mother. This lead to him having a good reputation at school and in town, but he's still mocked for his purple eyes. His mother is a descendant of Uub. His father died 5 years after his birth. He has a younger brother named Jockoo (after the main of my real bro Jocoo). When he celebrates his 16th birthday his mother gives a sword, saying that it was forged for him by his father and that he needs to find his uncle Minoshia (the new ambassador).

It's not everything, but I'm too lazy to continue.
More on it later.
So, what do you think?

The main issue for me is that the character is related to a main character from the series, making it completely 100% non-cannon.

My OC, Triple, is in no way related to characters in the series, thus is plausible to have existed if you get what I mean.

It's an easy to fall into pit fall, but try to avoid it.
You don't want them to be directly related to a main character, regardless of how many generations.
Also, keep their role small and simple. Triple's role was intended to be large (Android 666 destroying the Earth) but turned out to be your average person fighting along side everyone else in Age 1000.

I dunno... It kinda feels like you went "This is cool and this is cool, so if I smash the two together I should get Super Cool."

Pein says "That piece of literature was most dissatisfying".

Think about what you really want for a few days. Once you have a base that's neither cliché nor predictable you can feel free to tack on ANYTHING as long as a logical explanation is provided.

Isnt Uub that young man who made a small appearance at the end of the Buu saga then had a huge role in GT, whereas people say GT shouldnt have happened and isnt canoned to the DBZ series at all? xD
