Obviusly get a sword with 22% crit +15 and you basically own xD + gloves 22% crit +15 = GODLY
haha, as you are a swordsman, you don't need more hitrate stuff, it's just a matter of luck when you are face to face with a fighter, or sometimes a high dodge turtle..
Well, the most crit I've seen on a subweapon is 22% until yesterday a friend showed me his lvl 53 pole with 23% crit thanks to those webdepot's rocks that randomly changes the stats of stuffs..

hehehe why me... ok, i give u a little korean swordsman secret from stronger SM in vegeta (3rd in budokai). but, 1st i wanna know. how much ur hitrate and dodge? cause, if under 1600 hit (non-buff) its horrible.

for pvp build, all players almost same. the different is only gears, and ur style to play ur swordsman.

for gear 1st. armor in korea, we not use LP/EP reg % again. cause, still not help when we got dmg. better we fixed the weak status on our char.

example is swordsman. luckily that job has big hitrate, but if u fight opponent with have +1400 dodge, u still got miss.

armor: use focus effect on jacket and pant, boot up to u, u can choose con/dex effect. cc armor modified by brown box is good too, hope u can get that effects. in korea, cc armor can be 21 dex on boot, 20 foc on jacket, 20 cons on pant, etc. complete cc armor (1 set give CD effects + some EP).

weapon (glove): i heard crit % effect not much to help, to get big dmg in TW, right?. try with m.attack bonus and up to +10 / +12. (u can find red glove from modusa with "P" (rare) at front text or dropped item in gero hard lv 54 glove.

sub-wep: almost same, like glove effect at above. find the sword at tmq 6 or from mudosa lv 55.

rings: use from cc (1 set) with foc/cons effects.

necklace: use +100 resistance. cause, that effects can block all kind debuff. more +175 u can block MA stunt. the success to block is 65%. or use some properties effects. reduce any debuff is good too. but i prefer use resistance necklace.
----------
this, a little secret.

earrings: "+all properties". why, this status very help u, to get more dmg, and reduce dmg when u get hit. example my sword, 27% +9. has same dmg with +14 sword 29%, with player without wearing +all properties.

cc earring if u modified with brown box, will be get nice status. example, u can get 11 -16 CD + some status effects like str, foc, dex, eng, etc. if have 1 set cc earring, u got +800 LP.
but in korea, we not use cc earrings again (some players still use, but was not original cc effects again). cause, effects limit after modified from that items only 16 CD. better, we modified rare/legend earrings from mudosa lv 60 or dropped in UD6 "the biggest CD in korea is 23% for 1 earring". for ur swordsman, use 15 - 19 CD.

and other earring is use CD or +properties too.

so, try wearing my suggest.

armor : jacket (foc/dex), pant (foc), boot (cons/dex)
glove : m.attack bonus
sub-wep : m.attack bonus
rings : cc (1 set)
earring : +all properties and CD.
necklace : properties, resistance or some reduce debuff.

Fighters - shouldn't be a problem because you are a SM and you have high hit rate or just get focus sword + gloves + some crit%
Turtles - use "Quick Attack" then damage then "Kidney Shoot" then damage damage damage (u can KD too with "Multiple Sword Slashes".
Crane - similar to turtle but they have fast stun i think.
DW - got weak attacks but stuns and stuff. Just make a killer combo against them. Also you rarely see DW's
SK's - are the tricky ones. Same as DW make a nice good killer combo and own them.
Poko Pries - Stun him before he can summon the dragon. Or if he already did summon it just stun him and try to kill him before he can heal or before the dragon can kill you. D:
Dende's - dunno they are one of the strongest classes if properly equiped...

Karma's have fast stun - dunno but if i recall correctly "Quick Attack" is faster than their stun :/
Plasmas too + confuse - dunno -ll- -ll- -ll- ...
Ultimate got buffs but most of them don't use a PvP build so no problem. Then again TW Ultimates use PvP builds and have nice gear makes em almost unbeatable.
Grand Chef shouldn't be a problem if u get 1st stun.

For necklaces, earings, rings and other stuff just get antibleed,focus,con...
For armor con,LP% recovery ? Dunno...

Dende/Poko - Outlives an assault and an MA's dead, try and attempt to KD twice, stun twice and go for a kill before he gets up any buffs/reflect. If they get that stun-KD bug going, you're pretty much done for. Do not underestimate the bulk of a Dragon clan. With reflect+shield, LP% and huge LP, can be pretty hard to take down.

Karma/Plasma - Tele stun is faster than Quick attack , more range (45m) and instant cast, hope you dodge a debuff with resistance gear and such. Wear appropiate jewelry for best results. Perhaps a mixture of resistance necklace + 100 above, and some confusion jewelry.

Do note that plasmas can also perform KD-bugs, but at a slightly harder difficulty curve compared to Dragon Clans.

Mightys - get high CD accessories and lock with KD + stun. A bulky chef can easily take down a MA if they catch you with a EP drain. Ultimates relies on buffs and heavy armor and boast an annoying passive that skyrockets their resistance. Will prove extremely hard to take down once they get up buffs. Try practicing KDing out of ring, since half of your stuns would miss.

A Candy beam + Fire spin can still kill you, so I recommend running Increase LP by X when damaged, since spin hits multiple times instead of heavy dmg.

Shadow Knight - comes down to a matter of gear, preferablely attempt a KD lock before they cast that Absorb LP on you. Be sure to go in fully geared in Energy defence, and 80%~100% anti bleeding. Even then, they still do a hefty chunk with absorb and eye ray, deal with caution.

DWs can't really PvP, from what I have experienced.

Spirtualists - Make sure they don't cast a slow on you before your QA, or you won't have time jumping on his back. Other than that, should'nt have any problems againest a spirtualist if you have strong gear. Cranes can prove to be pretty bulky with great gear stacked such as LP%, so you might wanna consider KD locking once again, on them.

Martial Artists - Matter of PING, gear, first stun first win. Expect occasional hax going on when fighting Fighters, since you still miss 1/2 of your moves with 2.1k HR on 1k Dodge. Investing in your DEX might be worthwhile, since fighters have low HR/FOC, potentially scoring you some missed stuns and winning you the game.
To be honest, Fighter vs Swordsmen is all a matter of luck.
SM vs SM is a matter of Ping - > experience - > gear.

Get every single necessary jewelry set possible, so that you'd be prepared for all sorts of classes.
If you're really willing to play a good Swordsmen, you ough to collect multiple armor sets.

FOC/Properties Vs Fighters/Swordsmen
LP%/CON/DEX Vs Shadow Knights
DEX/Properties Vs Spirtualists
CON/DEX/Properties Vs Wonder Buus
LP by X/CON/Properties Vs Mighty Buus

You can also get an anti-candy set (talking to OP).
