Hello. I have recently started playing DBO TW, and noticed pretty much from the start the general lag the server has. I know the two servers are well populated, and lag in cities or crowded places probably wouldn't be avoidable in any case, but i am having general lag all the time, no matter what i do, or where i am in the game. On top of that, no matter what i set my System locale to, it won't alter the in-game chat text size and thickness. It is barely readable to say the least. I don't have any troubles with lag on the KR version, nor have ever experienced those known boxes [][][] or small and thin text when writing, after setting it to Korean unicode.
I have already tried alot of methods in the way of getting the TW version stable on a questing / grinding basis, but i just can't seem to get it to work, whether if i change the system locale to the 5 different Chinese languages, like Chinese (Taiwan), (HongKong) etc, whether i run the game as administrator or not, allow it through my anti-virus, lower the settings and / or screen resolution, with other tried attempts.
My PC specs has been checked a couple of times, and they are well over the standard requirements to run the game smoothly.

Is there anyone out there, with just the slightest idea of how to reduce or completely remove the lagging, and also make my chat writing text readable, with a broad and average sized text, like the Korean version had, after changeing your system locale to unicode Korea.

Not much you can do about the lag besides lowering the graphics and resolution. You can google "Leatrix Latency Fix", but that doesn't work for everyone. You do need to take into account the distance you are from their servers and how many players are online.

About your text issues, I haven't ran into that, so I'm not sure. I haven't had to change my system local on the TW version, only the KR version.

The problem is though, not even the lowest graphics along with the different resolutions did the trick unfortuantly, considering my pc is less than a year old, and still to date amongst the best hardware out there, which makes me think it could be something slowing down the connection, thus i have pretty stable and fast internet. I had some sort of ActiveX problems on the KR version, which i had to activate everytime i logged into the launcher through Netmarble Dbo site, so that could perhaps have something to do with this issue? Also, is there any programs like Java or such you need for the TW version in particular, and what internet browser would you recommend? I am using my standard Internet explore 7 atm, which worked fine on the KR. A little side-question, which is on-topic though, is this: Do the general player have general small-lagging when playing on the TW version, due to as you say about the servers being far away, along with the amounts of players online at the same time?
I will try that Leatrix Latency Fix, and hope that it could do the trick for me. By the way, how can you check your Frame rate when playing DBO TW, so we could compare those two, if you like.

Alright, well, i didn't have to either, but the text compared to Korean DBO is awfully thing and small, about equal in thickness to this text size, but just smaller and more compressed, so the letters almost merge into the one, making the whole word you write seem weird and buggy. Is your TW chat text size as it was on the KR, which was fine in size, and thick and broad as it should be.

Hey Hedz8. If i knew how to insert a picture directly, instead of using the url thing which i haven't any knowledge about, i could post a screenshot of my Korean DBO chat text size, compared to the TW one.
