We've got two new additions ready for the site today. The first is a skill calculator and the second is a new forum.

The skill calculator can be found here and should work just as you'd expect a skill calculator to work. All the data in the calculator is taken directly from the the skill database which was recently updated to fix errors and add new information. There shouldn't be many incorrect values, but if you do find one please be sure to let us know. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to improve the functionality of the calculator please post them as well.

Currently the maximum level of the calculator is set to 70. I know that the current level cap is 50, but information suggest that once the game is out of beta the cap will be 70. Because of this I think it would be better to focus on builds for version 1.0 (which is probably what we'll get when the game goes global) instead of version 0.90.38. To help out with the theory crafting you can also share the builds you've created by using a link that the calculator will give you.

To hopefully spark some interest in coming up with builds as well as give those who can't play the game yet something to talk about: I'm also going to be opening a Class Discussion forum. This forum will not be restricted to people who can play the Korean version of the game and will be coming later today. I'll also be moving all build discussion posts from the private Korean forum into this new forum so they'll be easier to find.

Awesome addition, but I do have a question/suggestion: would it be possible, to set a max level for the skill calculator?

Like making it so someone could set their maximum level for a build to 30 or 50? (70 is great, but I'll go overboard if I'm not paying attention)

I like the calculator. Makes it much easier to plan out what skills I want.

This is great. I've been using the one on the Korean site and it's just not working for me. Now I will have a better idea on how to build up my char. Hopefully now this will cut down on my "help with my build" posts, lol. It's nice to be able to see how my skills will look and how many points I can actually use up. Thanx Cit.

This would be a great idea too.

Ah, thank you so much! It was a pain using the Korean one. I think I'm gonna work on what skills I'll use right now. I feel like I'm planning for a Pokemon game for some reason. ^^;

Fixed the duration thing.

Are you sure that the damage doesn't go up (if you are, which ones)? When you have no points in a skill it will show the level 1 version and when you have points in it will show you that version of the skill. So upgrading from level 0 to level 1 will show the same information, but from then onward it should show the updated information.
