I started watching the new Thundercats series the other day for two reasons. One, it was on demand. Two, my neighbor recommended it to me, and thought I'd really like it. And you know what? He was right.
There are some aspects of the show I'm not too fond of. There are some points in the series where the lines are a little cheesy, but the acting is generally good enough that it doesn't bother me. Characterization is my biggest issue thus far, as I feel like the only character that really has depth at this point in time is Panthero, because of his background. Lion-O develops way to fast after the pilot episodes for my tastes.
But the general plot has me pretty interested, since it's a solid sci-fi/fantasy combination... with furries. I'm not a furry person, so I'm actually surprised by how much I like this series.
I say if you've got time, you should definitely check this show out, especially if you're a fan of the original Thundercats.
