I'm in the first town of the game and I'm stuck because some of my missions are not showing up on the map. Does anyone have any ideas what I have to do for them?

Quests that do not have any map markers require you to do certain things. For example: You will get a quest from the teleport merchant (little blue guy) and to complete the quest, you have to teleport somewhere in the world. After you teleport, there will be an X on the teleport merchant's position and you can turn the quest in. Another example is a quest that requires you to challenge somebody to a duel. Hope that helps you out.
