Ive been away from dbo and still away and trying to find a reason to come back but I here alot of negative things about dbo since i left so IDK they better do something quick because alot of people are starting to loose patients with dbo and from listening to you all it just may die outif they dont add some creativity and originality to this game.
Benn playing DBO for 2 days and i rly like it
want Eng in the game ofc But it pushed the eng speaking community to work toggeter and that in it self
give more in a game than i do in the games that is out
its great to se how deticated ppl are to Dragon ball that they play blind But still manege to get max lvl and so on
I could see them timing up the release of DBO in Japan with the release of the new movie next year. If they did that I think they would get a huge player base in Japan. And from there they would realize this game could actually make them some money, which would lead to an English version or translation option so they could make even more money.
Step 1; Game starts to die.
Step 2: Nexon sees potential to make profit off the game by sacrificing game performance / security for game content.
Step 3: Nexon buys game.
Step 4: Nexon markets game worldwide to make maximum profit.
Step 5: Game comes to USA / Europe. People are happy.
Step 6: Hackers take advantage of security holes.
Step 7: People complain about hackers, hate on Nexon and / or quit.
Step 8: Rich people buy $100's of NX/month for game, keep servers up, game sits around for 5-10 years.
Step 9: In 5-10 years, Nexon announces DBO2, shuts down servers, makes everyone start over again at Step 5. People buy into the system anyhow because they want a fun game based on the Dragon Ball universe.
Step 10: People complain about Nexon making them start over.
OR:
Step 1: Game makers recognize Japan, North America, and Europe as cash cows.
Step 2: Game makers bring games to new markets.
Step 3: Game makers make money and keep servers up for 5-10 years.
Step 4: Game dies after ~10 years, servers shut down permanently. People are sad until a new company gets the rights for the franchise after a revival of the Dragon Ball series through other media, likely another 5-10 years afterwords.
Step 5: New game becomes moderately popular, original players of DBO are now middle aged, play it alongside their children.
Step 6: Parents complain about it not being the same, even when the game is better.
