Now I'm going to pull a 180.
Whats the point of all of you moderators wanting to help citrinate run this site anyway? He is only using all of you. Take this from me, the person who was excommunicated, stripped and demoted. I never got any thankyou from anyone, not even Citrinate could man up and thank me even though he didn't need me any longer.
The most funniest part about this site and Citrinate himself, is he created some virtual hierarchy which is all for his amusement/entertainment as he just sits back with his legs up having a chuckle from his computer chair. He doesn't care about any of you moderators, he only wants to use you to help him to run his site. Thats what he did to me, at the very least.
If you want to save whatever of the community you have left Cit, you will remove the whole moderator status altogether, and revise your rules to this site because right now mods are taking advantage picking and choosing when and who to give out infractions. Now they are all being called out for it because the community had enough. You can't run or avoid this problem because the solution to this will determine if you should even bother running this site anymore.

You want to know why I joined up on staff? Because I kept seeing posts that were against the rules. They were everywhere. I was sending reports almost every time I got on the site for a while. I joined the moderation team because I wanted a change. I wanted a better community with less spam, less people begging for accounts (this was back in the Korea-only days) and more overall maturity. It's not like my joining fixed the site overnight, but I like to think I've at least made a contribution over the past few years. The reason I'm still on staff is because I still stand by the ideals I did when I joined. I still want to help improve the community. I'm doing this because I care. If I'm being used, then I'm being used to do something I want to do anyway.

We also need a few adjustment to rules such as removing off topic posts, and locking threads based on assumptions that it will turn into flaming. Threads should only be locked when the flaming actually starts, not before it starts.

There's really only one unofficial rule we have about locking threads based on subject matter: no Goku Vs Superman threads. Not after the month-long, 25-page monster thread of 2012. Never again. Other than that, we do lock/delete things that have
substantial potential to become hate against a religious, ethnic, or social group, which we've certainly had issues with in the past. My general policy is to avoid locking threads until things actually go downhill.

Forum event. I suggested the moderators do a halloween horror game livestream. None of them seemed to like the idea.

I just don't think I remember it being brought up. If that's what you guys want, I'm more than willing to oblige. I've been saving Kraven Manor for a little while and I'm probably the jumpiest person on the moderating staff, so it would probably be entertaining for any viewers. I'm going out with a friend for Halloween in the evening, but I'd be willing to do a stream in the afternoon or late at night, so long as my folks don't get upset with all the noise I'll inevitably make -- I'm a very loud speaker.
