VenomMourne Relax ^^.
It is so that on late levels it doesnt matter if you boosted your way there or hard leveld.
But to be honest they give away a F2P game. but i'm sure the servers aint free to keep.
so don't see it as pure marketing it could be a donation too. You donate for example 1 Euro/Dollar and you get back 1 hour 25% more exp.
Personally i won't buy such boosts cause so said so many people before me i like to level the game as it suppose to be. But i'm willing to pay for special items later on if the possibility is there and if it's not too expensive.
Well if it's an awesome mmo, I have no problem 'donating' $5~$15 (Buying whatever currency is used for the cash shop) monthly. Though I'd probably just get the items for convince and fashion; the faster mounts, and costume pieces. (the gear that you wear that doesn't do much besides look cool) .
If its as awesome as the mmos that require me to pay $14.99 monthly, I'd be more than willing to give it that much.
P2play ftw, in Korea f2p works because you need a KSSN and only 1 country.
On global scale it would fail most likely, too many noobs and other things like scams.
Awesome! thanks man for this information. Hopefully with Open Beta we will get a lot more videos/pictures to let us know what the final game will be like :D
tbh Guild Wars did exceptionally well for being a f2p game, all they used were expansions and game sales to keep the servers running, which if I remember correctly, never had lag on them :)
There's always been rumored dates for every beta/release and they've all been wrong (even when they've been released in CJ Internet's public reports). If it's not on the homepage of dbo.netmarble.net then it's not official and, most likely, wrong.
