Why don't humans have tails? I see no reason why humans don't have tails.
(Talking about real life not DBO)

Because our species is adapted to living on the ground. Unlike monkeys, our closest group of relatives that retains that feature, we aren't arboreal. We don't need a prehensile tail because we're not arboreal. We don't usually end up in situations where using a tail to balance would be useful either.
What I'm wondering is why we thought it would be a good idea to get rid of the opposable feet...
