I actually considered adding the names like that when I first translated them. It gives them some type of uniformity similar to how we would probably put "RP" before the names to the members of the Red Pants army but in the end it isn't necessary. For one thing, by first look you can tell its a saibaman and if there are a group of them, you want to be able to easily tell which is which especially if their names overlap. At the same time, I'll add it to the list of names so we can continue to vote.

At first glance, with the "Platinum banging cultivation people" and " Platinum ping cultivation person" I think its a saibaman mining for platinum but looking at the image that obviously isn't the case...

In the KR translation from Babylon, it mentions another precious metal, "gold" so we know it has to do with precious metal. When I look up "alluvial" in the dictionary, it generally means, "something containing any heavy mineral". Can't forget the "humming" part of the translation as well. I wanted to get your opinions before I post it.

Probably Humming Gold for that. Anytime an insect flies the beating of their wings generates some form of noise and this one may very well be a humming sound. Since humming is included in the KR translation, that'd be my bet.

Saibamen come in different shapes and sizes not all are "men"
Ball - Saiba
Man - Saibaman
Fly - Saibug
Crab - Saibacrab

Well that's how I denote their suffix anyway

But I was thinking we use something like that to refer to their stages and then we add the normal part in front or someting

Also we need to be careful we could very well end up with clashing names

I do like that idea. it puts them into more of a sub category so not everything is just in 1 thing. i agree with gundam on this one

That's actually an excellent idea especially considering that not just with the saibamen but with the other monster types like the frogs with the dino type. If you don't mind Gundam, I'd like to use your suffixes. I'll update the post with them. Until we have a few more ppl agree with your suggestion, I'll put them in parenthesis. I also noticed the potential of clashing names while screenshotting, not much I can do about it with a limited number of screenshots but I won't add to the translator until I have a better understanding of how their named, seeing how there are many lookalikes.

Don't remember why this bothered me. Its actually kind of helpful when translating and can be used when getting the final translations, I apologize O_o

If you're intent on using "Saiba" as the suffix, it perhaps should be noted that the original representation is "Saibai". I'm unsure if the goal is appeal to Dub or Original fans, but I thought I should note that anyway.

Personally, when suffixes were first suggested, I didn't think saibamen had original representation or nicknames but Gundam's suffixes have kind of grown on me. I really like your idea as well, it gives the saibamen translations more order more order so what I'll do is let everyone decide in a poll. Thanks for your suggestion :)
