i got in as far as my character and it crashed and showed me an error message with a tonne of question marks anybody know what the story is there?

It could be related to some excessive lag I have been experiencing tonight. I got the same error as well.

-solved- i just ran the launcher and it did like 3 patches and now its running fine

Try to re-install the game,open it as admin.(and without the english patch) update it,and then you enter the game(if it works)and then you install the english patch,it worked with me.
