Everyone need to gather dragonballs in order to gain transforms because it makes game lil harder. And if you use brains and logic it perfectly makes sense. Humans asks to be able to go ssj, making them kind a saiyans, majins to make them pure majins (which should be kind a evil) and Namecians also need to restore the original namecian powers, because giant form technique might be long forgotten so they can achieve it only with dbs.

None of that really makes any sense to me. The Dragon Balls are only really required from a gameplay perspective. After all, would we need Dragon Balls to learn a new HTB skill? I think not.

The last one in particular doesn't make any sense to me. Why wouldn't the Namekians in particular be able to transform? Restore their original powers? What original powers?

Look... The the best way to gain transform in DBz MMORPG game is collecting dragonballs and making wish, because it really requires effort. I guess we agree on this one. ;)


Why humans use dragonballs magic to become ssj? Because there aren't any technology or technique that could allow them to do that. They have about 0.1 %(my math skills sucks) saiyan blood, there is no way they could achieve it through training so they use dragonballs and ask for this ability. The same goes for majins, because they aren't pure majins (though they supposed to be).

As for namecians.. Maby noboby knows how to use giant form at age 1000, maby giant form is like some kind a legend for namecians at age 1000. In db univerce only Lord Slug, King Piccolu and Piccolu Jr used this technique. We didn't see namecians using this transform when Frieza invaded planet Namec so it makes me think that not everyone can use it. It should be forgotten because all three previous users of giant form are dead(Piccolu?We don't know anything about him) so they can't teach any other namecian how to do that. So Namecians use dragonballs to achieve this tecnique.

I'm trying to use DBO story content to support developers ideas. I can't tell anything about new HTB though, in my opinion it would make more sence with quests than wishes. =P

If the Dragon can't turn 18 human, then I don't think it can be used to make you more of a Saiyan either. And as for Majin, they couldn't have distilled blood like the human characters do because they all come from a common ancestry. They do become weaker after successive generations it seems, though.


Honestly, there's a reason that they wouldn't use that form. It's not always the best idea from a tactical standpoint. Being bigger will often just make you a larger target, even though it should bolster physical strength. And even if it were a legend, it would still be well in their capacity to be able to use it.

I've tryed to explain why all three different type of races need to collect dbs in order to gain transforms. Gameplay purposes are obvious, but what about story?Developers never used story content to explain that. Any different way doesn't come in mind right now =P
