Yeah, I will be honest, most of the time I assume someone is a male when I meet a new player online even if its a female character. I only will start thinking they are a female unless they tell me that they are one IRL

Generally a bad assumption. There are a surprising number of girls who like male-oriented series. Then again, sometimes there are a lot of guys who like girl-oriented series. I mean, half of the internet's population seems to be made up of bronies these days. And I've seen a lot of guys who are in to Sailor Moon and Fruits Basket. And then there's The Powerpuff Girls, which appeals to a fair number of guys too...

Then again, I generally assume people I meet who write fanfiction are female, so...

There are many girls who play MMOs. And they're usually my friends.

I must admit, I saw Sailor Moon as a child. And that was at the same time i saw Dragon Ball. Am I bisexual?
LOL just kidding...
Oh, I'm a guy by the way.

It's always nice knowing that girls branch out into the male dominated games. It adds more to the experience. Unfortunately some guys get overzelous and just scare the girls off by being stalkerish.

Namekians are a safe race to play, because they have no gender, they reproduce asexually, males and females can play them without feeling weird about it.

Yeah I know, I shouldnt assume that all the time, but usually with MMO's you do meet some strange people...and the internet is filled with strange people, also for the fact that you dont know who you are talking to behind the computer screen. I have met people over MMO'S where they actually lie to my face saying they are a female and they trick everyone they come across, and then eventually the whole truth comes out

This happens to me a fair bit. What, girls can't be good at video games?

Actually, that might just make them feel weirder about it. Girls can't be identified as, well, female, and guys can't have their, er... sense of masculinity I suppose...

Not to say that woman aren't tough, but I think I'd feel pretty masculine being like Piccolo(or Nail for that matter) even if I didn't technically have a gender.

I mean, who doesn't feel manly doing something like this:

Eh, I'm just saying, some guys wouldn't be too happy about not having some... parts I'd wager.

I prefer playing the opposite gender myself. I have a female spiritualist alt. But I don't go running around saying I'm a girl to get special treatment or anything. I can usually tell when a guy tries to make you believe he is a girl in-game. The way I know they're lying is when they talk like this: "dud im a girl. y do u think im lying?" This is how 99% of the people I've come across in the game talk. The majority of english players in this game are teenage males. The reason I base it off of their grammar is because most teenage females who care enough to understand this game and play it most likely use good grammar and sentence structures like Kiyza. So, I believe that she is a girl and has the right to play as what ever gender she wants to.

....Does that make me a girl, now that I have good spelling, punctuation and grammar?

Me? I don't really give a damn about genders in-game. You could be a guy playing as a girl, vice versa, etc, and I wouldn't really care.

My problem is, I like to RP. Alot. Even when people don't. XD
