I wonder if he experiences fear.

I'm also surprised no one brought this up (At least I don't think anyone did, I really didn't read the whole thread):

Yeah NK is part of the UN. So are we but we still develop bio weapons. UN doesn't mean as much as it did in the past.

Yeah but I don't think the UN will be really thrilled if NK nukes the US.

War throughout the ages has helped indirectly through technological advancement. New technologies are developed for the purpose of defeating the enemy. When the war is over, the economic damage must be repaired. Practical everyday uses for the new technologies are found, the radio for example. Mass production of the new product creates jobs, stimulates the economy, is exported, bringing more money into circulation as well as in the government's wallet.

War itself is not good for the economy, and when the war causes no technological advancement, then things will only continue to worsen.

What economic damage must be repaired?

America fights its wars overseas. We don't have to rebuild buildings, we rebuild the other nations using our methodology and with our infrastructure. We create new jobs and infrastructure... Repair what damage? The economy is not a car. We create jobs and GDP, we improve our economy during WW2.

I'm no saying war in general, but obviously America's wars helped it immensely. How do you think we came by Texas and Eastern regions? We took them... We only bought Alaska and Louisiana Purchase.

The world was different back then.

So I suppose we just beam them over there like it's star trek. Sending supplies, troops and munitions overseas is not free. We also need materials to produce the supplies and weapons. Then building airplanes and ships to transport the troops and supplies. It is not nearly as cheap as it sounds.

The natural resources found in those lands we took are was repaired the damages from the costs of war. Just like with new technologies developed for the purpose of war. It's the technologies that repaired damages from the costs of war.

The middle east, we are losing a lot of money and gaining nothing. No new land, no new technologies, and no end in sight. It isn't going to end well for our economy.

If NK nukes us and we retaliate, we will then be spending money on 2 wars.

I know english isn't your first language but do try read those posts about the economic side of war before opening your trap, because you completely missed the point.

And really, I'm sick of your stereotypical anti-american comments. Please for the love of god, science or whatever the hell it is you believe in, either take it somewhere else or keep it to your damn self.

Again pointing fingers at America. Do you simply have no self control?

Seriously, just don't come back to this thread. If you can't stop yourself, then avoiding threads discussing America is the next best thing.
