Pretty much, ive downloaded an english translation pack and ive got the back up, the lang and the lang0 one. ive got the three packs all in the pack folder but it still wont work! do i have to extract something?

Did you put the files in localize/TAIWAN/pack folder? If you put them in the other folder, it won't work! Try this and see if it does anything!

Yea ive tried that and unfortunatly, it didn't work :(

But i downloaded the english patch from this site and it turns out its a zip. now im trying to figure out how to extract it to the pack folder. ive tried that to but it just gives me error messages.

Try extract with WinRar on you Desktop and then put it manualy in pack folder

Well, i just realized that i did put them in the wrong folder. lol, sorry kere and so ive got my language pack and my folder but it still wont let me extract. and thanks for trying to help andrija.

i just made the zip file into a folder file. will that help? or will it not effect anything?
