Firstly, I apologize if this is in the wrong place. It seems as good a place as any as the 'general' forum. If it isn't, im sure citrinate will move it...

Secondly, I apologize if this is already been dealt with. All i can find are small threads with no real answers, half of which are closed.

Now, my problem is that i would like to play this game, but for some reason, i cannot. To remedy the situation, so far i have tried:

Reseting my PC
Re-running the installer and attempting the repair function
Complete Uninstall - Reinstall of the game. Twice.
I then downloaded the slightly older installer, the 5 piece one, uninstalled the newer one, and installed the 5 piece one.

But none of this has helped.

My issue is, whenever i run DBOLauncher (yes as administrator), all i get is this message box:

Which translates to DBOLauncher cannot be run at this time (or something close)

I can't update it as I don't get the client, I don't get anything else, just that box, click OK, then nothing. I would really like to play this game, so, can anyone offer some advice?

This has been all over the forums -- and I usually get this message too. I think it has something to do with either server maitence or you need to update your version. Scour the forums, and you WILL find something. You posted in the right place though.

Hi, me again. Thanks for all your help....(lol). I have officially tried everything i can think of to get this damn game to work, including:

1: Reset
2: Re-install, about 6 times now, 3 of which used applocale set to chinese simplified
3: I have completely removed AVG from my computer
4: I have downloaded not 1, not 2, but all 3 client installers available, (torrent, direct, parts) and installed all of them, using applocale set to chinese(simp) at least twice.
5: I have searched these forums, but apparently no one can fix this, it just randomly fixes itself for people.
6: Yes, i run it as administrator, I can't -Not- run it as administrator since I have it set to run as admin by default.

As this is the case, and I am simply out of patience, hope and completely out of ideas, (Since the game, being an MMO, chances are I have spent -AT LEAST- half the amount of time that i would of spent playing it, trying to get it to work)
I have decided to say stuff this game, and wait for an english version, and just hope the same stuff doesn't happen when it comes out. :(

If anyone does eventually find anything, I will be looking at this page from occasionally, but other than that, Goodbye to everyone until i can get this damn game to work.
