Previously, my Win32/Themida question had been answered by Tykian, so I'm positive that it isn't anything serious.
I had been able to play DBO for.. One or two days, until the launcher started downloading and patching. Apparently (correct me if I'm wrong) it updated to a newer version of the launcher. Though, this caused my AVG to catch even more 'errors' about the Win32/Themida.
Now, whenever I click on 'Start' on the launcher-screen, it'll say that DBO.exe has the Win32/Themida infection. It'll give me three options:
Move to Quarantine: this'll put the entire file into AVG's Quarantine, so I wouldn't be able to launch it at all.
Move to file location: Just opens the map that DBO.exe is located in.
Ignore: This'll ignore the warning that it gave, though, in order to keep my computer save, Resident Shield will make sure that I can't open the file, so in this case I wouldn't be able to play DBO either.
So, my question is: Is there any way to prevent this stuff from happening, so that I'll be able to continue and play DBO?
Open your AVG user interface and select "resident shield". At the bottom select "Manage Exceptions". Inside that window, select "Add Path". Now browse to "C:\Program Files\DBO_CT_TW" and hit "OK". Now hit "Apply" in the "Excluded Items" window and hit "OK". Try now!
