Later today, at 5PM (GMT +8), the Taiwanese Open Beta will finally open its servers to the players. For anyone interested in playing, all that's needed is to first create a Wasabii account and then activate it with DBO. If you haven't done this yet you can find a
complete guide here and
download links here.
If you've been following through the closed betas for a while now you'll also be happy to know that it's been confirmed that open beta characters will never be deleted like they were in the previous closed betas. Like the closed betas, however, a level limit will still be active and is set at level 38. This limit will eventually be lifted, but no date as to when this will happen was mentioned.
For anyone new to Dragon Ball Online, make sure you create your character in the "2.[布馬伺服器]" server (
more info) as this is the server most of us English speakers will be playing on. You should also check out the newly updated
skill database for assistance in determining what a skill's effects are as well as the
guild and
character lists to find people to play with.
