I swear I'm going to get called a Japanophile for saying this, but my favorite movie is Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away. Why? A lot of American movies these days just fall short when it comes to telling an enthralling and exciting story that makes you think when it gets to the end. Don't get me wrong, a lot of films I've seen do this, but none of them really suck me in like Spirited Away.

If I had to pick a second place, I'd give it to Disney's The Lion King. As a kid, it was one of the first films I saw, and it enchanted me like pretty much any animated film the company's come up with. It has an emotional plotline, but one that makes you feel happy in the end. I'm still the kind of person who would use "Hakuna Matata" as their moto for day to day life.

The Terminator is probably my favorite film as far as live action goes. The entire franchise is rather dark as a whole, having the mindset that you can never change fate, but it's really well executed.

So what's your favorite movie and why?

Mine is Lion king as far as animation because i loved the plotline and as far as action goes i'd have to say taken because i liked the action and it shows how far a dad would go to save his daughter

Ok my Favorite movie of all time is TITANIC!! I just love the message behind it and it was like some of the first movies I cried at and that part where she says she'll never lets go some people I have met say if she said she'll never let go why did she release her grip actually letting him go. And I tell them she's not talking about that she's talking about the promise he told her to keep and to hold on too. My fav. horror movie is Halloween (didn't like the sequels much because I like the cliffhanger at the end of the first movie how you don't know where "the Shape" Michael Myers went. My favorite action movie is Die Hard definetely alot of humor and action which kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. My favorite animated movie is probably Mulan I love this movie mostly because it shows that a woman can do anything that a man can do which I believe is very true and great that they showed that instead of the typical damsel-in-distress. My favorite comedy would have to be Dinner for Schmucks which I saw the other day I cracked up through out the whole movie... XD

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

what can i say i love pirates? and an all out war between Pirates and the Navy reminds me too much of OnePiece lol. but seriosly it really was nice imo and i am kinda a fan of that series.

I freaking love that movie XD. First time I watched it was when I was 7 and I still enjoy watching it when it's on the TV :D

I would have to say my favorite movie of all time has got to be hackers. I could watch that movie all day long.

Animated would probably be Batman: Under the Rood Hood, because that movie was interesting and action packed, and it was visually pleasing. My favorite live action movie would have to be Invention of Lying, because it was just too funny.
