Good question, I log into it every know and then. Matter of fact I'm on it right now. ^^ As you said it is a good way of communicating with others causing them to get along and a good way to pass time.
Perhaps if it were at the bottom of the forums or top such as the dbmmo one maybe it would get used more because people like looking at the forums more then the chat if they were both on the same page i think it would be much more active
I don't really see the problem with it being on another page, especially since nearly every browser has tabs now. Its not hard at all to click on a different tab or even go ctrl+[insert page tab number here]
I haven't been on it lately since I've been busy with my voulenteer work at my church's bible camp. I haven't had enough time to myself as of late, but I finally get off next week. At long last I'll have time to myself! I'll be sure to get on the chat then.
Edit: Oh, and tabs are your best friend. I'm a huge multitasker, so I usually keep at least 5~7 open at the same time. There's often a bunch of tabs for this forum alone. Sometimes I even have my DVD playing software open and watch Dragon Ball while the site's minimized.
If it all were on one page as soon as you went to another it'd have to refresh, besides no everyone comes to view the forum on a computer that may be able to deal with the chat.
I just can't grasp how hard it is to have two tabs.
of course its not hard lol but you are not getting my point its not hard but why not simplify to one tab if possible rather then have 2 its just simplification thats all im saying
Simplification is for internet n00bz! Obviously, I'm just joking. It is a lot easier to just have one tab open for some, but having multiple tabs does come in handy. That's kind of why they're there.
