GUIDE FOR TW SERVERS:
First off, before the guide even starts: Don't believe in any fast track ideas or little tricks, because they DO NOT WORK. The fastest and most reliable way to collect DB's is to DO IT YOURSELF. There are a few other ways that are acceptable, but they are for lazy people who give up easy and probably suck at looking for DB's. I'm on my 4th wish(3 of 7), which I will probably use to get my masterclass HTB or more of the dragon buffs.
There is no SURE way to get a DB to drop, the system was designed very well, and you also cannot group up and hunt properly.
What we know about Dball hunting:
The higher level the mob, the more likely the drop. People have said this range only goes to 5 levels, but I have seen drops from even lower levels and even higher levels. I would recommend only looking in your range.
As the hunt time goes on, you are FAR LESS LIKELY to find DB mobs because they spawn all at once when the hunt time starts, meaning an hour or two in, all of the original DB mobs have died, and you are looking at respawns.
The fastest way to collect Dragon Balls is flying over a stretch of map picking them out and slaying them.
1.You find a nice patch of untouched DB spawns
2.Scan the entire area once over.
3.After scanning the area of DB mobs, you channel hop and look over the same patch again, making sure no other players have been through there yet.
4. Repeat steps until Hunt time is over
Your best chance is to check on THURSDAY after maintenance. The TW players usually don't log on after maintenance is over, so there are huge sections of the map full of DB mobs. This is how I found 10 in one night, and could have kept going had I not been helping a friend find his.
Thursday is the golden time. Stop trying to wiggle in with little tricks and stop taking people's stupid advice. It's going to take a week of searching for some people, and some it will only take 2 days.

There is also boxes & supers.
Yesterday I was in a group and... you know it dropped...
I have some1 that can 2nd this so add this is u like
For party hunt to work you must be far away from eachother
Also keep on with Dbuffs depending if u have 5 or not, 1 is useless for a class like a SM getting soul buff, SM shouldn't use eng attack

Well yeah, boxes and crates and such are all considered mobs. I saw one in the field of about 50 once with the DB symbol, I get a good feeling, fly right on top and have just enough time to kill it and pick up the Dragon Ball.

Used my guide to find 8 in one night, and 10 the last maintenance period, and this was just a normal DB drop time.
I'm telling you it works way better than the other guides if you have found good areas to search :P

This is a completely false statement. I have personally stayed in one area killing mobs to make more db mobs appear and have collected quiet well.
I use the smurf method with a pve character. I don't like DB hunting but every time I go, I find a minimum of 6 (I never end up starting until mid way through the hunt.). The most I have found in one hunt was 10.
I have done this on both TW and KR (Note KR hunt's last the whole weekend, only furthering the fact that statement I quoted is not true.).

It's not false, but few classes can just decimate hordes of mobs in the numbers required to spawn multiple DB's. It's a completely factual statement in general on busier channels and time periods. If everyone is hunting at once, there are far less DB mobs because everyone is killing them and the respawn rate isn't near as fast.
As a swordsman with a PvP build, this is by far the fastest way to gather DBs without someone helping :P
Also this is a guide for TW server, so what you said about KR is irrelevant

Yes, it is false... The first mobs of the DB hunting period have no more chance to drop a DB than the last mobs of a hunting period. Yes when there are more people hunting the rate may drop some, but that's not what you said first plus I have done just fine gathering DB's in the middle of the hunting period.
And if the guide was for TW Server only then you should have posted on the Taiwan Version Discussion's Guide page not this one. The reason why you put it here is because Dragonball hunting is universal to DBO, it doesn't matter what server you on; there is no discrepancies in the DB drop ratio or the strategies used.
You can use any strategy you want for hunting DB's, yes some work better than others... But in the end you still have to spend hours killing mobs to drop them. If you don't want to do that then your gonna have a hard time finding DBs lol. Good Luck Db Hunting!

Actually, the same way that there are different DB hunting times for each version, there's a chance that the rates may also vary... Of course, there's no way for us to know that for sure.
