Items Needed
1. Dragon Ball Radar ( Get with Scouter with the effect of it )

2. Good Armor/ Weapons ( Needed for mob attacks)

3. Healing Items ( In case you start to die)

Strategy 1
Do dungeon and fight their because dungeons apparently have a higher dragon ball drop rate.

Strategy 2
Look for a dragon ball mob that is the same level as you and keep fighting them. Once their all gone, fight the normal monsters and more dragon ball mobs should come.

Strategy 3
Look for a quest to do where in you have to do a mob hunt because then you will be doing your quests while looking for dragon balls.

Strategy 4
Look for Monster areas that are 1 or more levels above you and look around for DB Mobs and fight them. That is how i just got the Two-Star Ball on my first DB Mob.

Strategy 4 worked best for me so far. It helped me to get 3 dragon balls in less than an hour. i got a db on the first db mob i beat.

Dragon all radar is more than recommended xD , should be In the guides section where there are more of these threads , also not a very good guide sorry , attack mobs 3 levels higher for better results

The fastest way i have ever had dragon balls drop is

1. create a new character get to say level 5-10

2. you'll need and ultimate majin to buff this character so having 2 pc's helps

3. go to the level 21 super dinosours on kokkorra and use a level 70 to kill till you see db mobs

4. make sure you aren't in a party with the level 70

5. kill the dino's with the low buffed character

I got 2 sets of dbs last night, I was playing my lv 41 poko, I was on lv 50-55 map i think (its red) I just killed mobs that was lv 51 and plenty of balls dropped, so that thing about 5 levels above and no more is invalid, it doesnt matter what level the mob is... except for extremely lower level mobs. The higher lv, the better.

One thing you might want to change is that you no longer get the dragon radar from the quest dragon balls. You have to find a scouter that has it built in as an 'effect'.

The scouter u get when u make new char have that function so u have to buy nothing

I'm pretty sure that's not actually true. There are no effects listed on the starting scouter. I made a new character to farm dragon balls shortly after the scouter update and found that I had to send that character a better scouter via mail because he couldn't detect them with the scouter he already had. Also, I've had to tell numerous people where to get one that has dragon radar because they also claim their scouters don't have it.

I can also confirm this you at least need to go to korin town and buy the superior one in order to see dragonballs on your mini map
