we spoke about this before and i doubt there are any plans, i use iphone and just use safari and i get around the site quick and easy so i dont think there would be much point tbh
rather than an "app" just a mobile forum site would work better, I see it all the time it just makes links easier for the screen size and thumbs/fingers compared to the cursor on the screen

I agree, for example, Tapatalk is a great app to browse forums but those sites needs to have tapaltalk plugins to be able to be shown on the app, something like that.
