i have been playing this since 2010 on kr dbo.. Ok kids get ready for story time!!
I was watching dbz abridged one day and saw someone playing dbo clicked it.. it led me to this site. downloaded it after mr. Popo forced me too. played it. Died a bunch. Never got past lvl 20 something on kr dbo.. crappy pc at the time.. waited like a year to try to play it again.. went to tw dbo. started over again. reached lvl 63 in tw dbo. tried to play again for the past 3 weeks but i keep getting errors. going back to kr dbo.. I rest my case..
I found DBO through a friend in RL, and I think he found out about it because we always discussed how we wish there was a Dragonball MMO / MMORPG and talked about how we wanted it to be. Then one day he found this and it was pretty much exactly how we wished they would make one.
It was 6 years ago, when I had my old Intel Celeron computer. As I searched for something related to Dragon Ball I ran into some Dragon Ball Online early stage pictures. At that time it was only a project but I was really excited about the idea of a MMO style Dragon Ball game so I kept a track on the game development, as sooner or later they had to release it. Surprisingly, in 2006 my computer configuration wasnt even good enough to play the game , as it required 512 MB ram and I had only 256 MB ( what can I say, good old school ). I waited patiently for another 3 years and in 2009 the first in-game videos appeared. Finally in summer 2011 I started to play DBO Taiwanese version.
I saw a supposed new DB series on YT, of course it was fake, but on the side-tab, there was a video walk-through of a game called Dragonball Online.
I had been looking for DBZ games to play and I had just lost hope of a good one for PC. TW wasn't out at the time, and I didn't trust anyone online, so I waited, and lost track of the game. I came back 6 months later to find the TW version out. I downloaded it, and understood nothing at that point. I got mad at the game (lol) and left it for 2 months. I came back with a better understanding of PC's and installed the Eng patch. I kept playing for about 4 months, and then stopped. I came back after about a month and here I am still playing.
