Lately I've been coming to the site hoping to chat with my friends but keep getting a server is full error. No doubt most of the people in the chat are just afk, so I suggest an inactivity timer so that afk users will be booted from the chat and let others in who actually intend to use it.
I've been getting this quite a bit too actually. I wouldn't say boot the AFK people, or me and Cit would be booted too. There actually aren't a lot of people in there too, i've seen more than this in there. What i think is happening, is a feature got added that you can't have a second user of yourself in there. (For EX: if you were already in the chat room and you had another tab open at the chat room, it used to say Swordsman45_43532, or something like that. Now i think it just won't let you in.) I think it's sensing you still being in the chat room even though you're not really. Eventually, the client will figure out you're not actually there and kick the ghost you, so the real you can actually join.
I'm not aware of any limits to the number of users in the chatroom. I also didn't make any changes on my end with how the chat client handles duplicate users.
If that's the problem though, you can just disable the chatroom automatically loading on the chat homepage, and then click on the join chat button. You can also use an IRC client to connect to the chat directly.
