First bug I noticed is the inability to use the Yardrat IT warpers anymore. I click the dots for the areas, but it doesn't do anything. It doesn't pull up the prompt for purchasing to teleport or anything.
Next bug I noticed, since I couldn't use the points for teleportation, I tried using tokens to get a scooter, that failed too. Though it did pull up the prompt to purchase the item, it still wouldn't give me the scooter, though I haven't lost tokens.
Then I went to the Ruin looking Dungeon on the far north east of the Human Start point to try some DB Hunting. I ended up getting killed. But no respawn prompt or anything, it doesn't auto respawn either. I tried changing channels, which is another bug I found prior to this, and I can't change channels, log out, or quit from in game. I tried relogging, exiting the game window, trying to heal my character as soon as it spawns, but he still dies. With no other person around my char is essentially really dead now cause of this.
Short version:
1. Can't use Yardrat Teleporters
2. Can't purchase scooter with token items
3. Can't change channels, log out, or exit the game with the client.
4. Died and can't respawn
I noticed though there's these phrases that have code or html in the text box in the corner when I try to do those actions. Either it's a client side bug or a server side.
Recently reinstalled and patched and followed some other instructions to even get the game to load
due to some C ++ error thing or whatever.
Have you tried this guide for fixing the launch error? http://dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21770 I know that's not you're issue but it might help to have a good working version installed. I'm sorry if this dose not help.
Yeah I used that thread. That's basically how I managed to even get my game to load so I can even play to get these bugs. Other wise I couldn't play at all.
This is the text that it says. It sounds like the one you get when you die, but it appears there in one of the boxes with some html code or something.
