No it's not lol, in party you normally only have to fight 1 hard team and solo you have to fight multiple hard players.

But getting ureself a strong team isnt quite easy =P

Yes, first of all you have to find 5 strong ppl to have the chance to win it.
5v5 is a bit harder to win while you can't let one member of your party die and have to kill at least one of the other group.
1v1 is a tie luck based budokai (talking about kid). If you face a decent geared guy with senzu, 4k pot and auto potion the rounds will end in a tie no matter what you do or what class you or he is playing. At the end the system will choose who gets the win by random.
