I am an old MMO player, and I recently started DBO (Tw version).
I love the DBZ universe, and when I heard about a DB mmo... I had to try it.
Well at first the game was exactly what I expected, races, class, the world... everything is just great and funny to play.

BUT. I have one huge problem, and I have searched in this (wonderfull) forum for similar posts but I found none, maybe because it's a well-known problem as the game is hosted on chineese servers.

My problem is: Lag! Each time I am doing an action I must wait 3 sec until it's done, and as I am a huge pvp player, my dream of playing some pvp within the DB universe was broken...

My question is: do you also have this lag? I Have the best connection possible, therefore I think that every european player has it; but maybe you have some tricks to get the game working properly?

I am lvl 11 and I intend to quit if I don't find a solution.

Again, a big thank you for this website, tutorials are wonderful to install the game properly and each guide is very interesting :)

I use gamebooster program to increase my computer performance to kill the lag

and such a quick answer... awesome community here :) . I've heard about gamebooster, does it work properly? is it hard to configure? :)

You just open it and it does everything for you

Actually it's working a bit better, but I still got some lag and it's not fully enjoyable. I will try to restart and give you some feedback if it's working better. Did you Defrag your hardrive with game booster? They proposed me when I installed it, maybe I should do it, let me know :)

The lag also depends on the. Version of game you are playing I recommend join hongkong version because we have no lag there unlike Taiwan version

I restarted and I still got this lag. I will join HK version then. I hope it won't take me a day to switch version!! Thanks a lot!!

Last question, can I keep my Wasabi account that I used for the TW version or should I make a new one following tutorials?

You have to make a new one

Your lag is most likely due to bad internet and bad ping as your playing an Taiwanese servers. If this is the case your still gona be having lag when trying to get on Hong kong servers.

Alright, but am I the only one in that case? I don't see any post about lag, do you live outside Europe?

Again my internet is the best I can get in my country (england), I'm downloading at 4MB/s all the time and I never had any laggs on other MMO/ starcraft 2/ LoL.

I will try the HK version just to give it a try; if it doesn't work better I will stop I think
