just wanted to see if im the only one, maybe my character got corrupted or something from never logging out before maintenance but i can never figure out exactly when they start. really never noticed these things until after this update.

lately every time i log back in my quests all uncheck themselves and no longer are in the quest progress viewer. when i fly and land i get this weird white screen thing now, like the land turns white for a split second. i noticed some of the streets are artifacting now when they werent before the update as well.

well i guess its good that im not the only one, but this never happened before the update for me so it kinda sucks. it really bothers me reticking all my quest though thats for sure.

worse comes to worse i guess ill try to reinstall and see if that fixes it.

what do you mean? if it never happened before hand why is it happening now? seriously i never had any of these issues until this update.

my quest viewer never did that before, i never saw the white flare when i land from flight and i never experienced any in game artifacts. like the roads are doing in some areas now.

Those are just DirectX Issues..

The quest thing. if you log out, and back it in it should reset your quest log. since it's a dynamic pane

not like im trying to lie or something but i am not when i say this never happened before the update.

my quest never did that before nor did i experience these "direct x" issues. im pretty sure its not supposed to do that. it didnt for almost a entire month until this point.

i have two accounts neither of them did this before the update and i played them a lot since the update.

As for the quest log thing, that has always happened to me and it never really bothered me much. Maybe it's like the 3rd action bar (you have to switch your computer locale to Taiwan for it to stick there, or it will disappear everytime you logout).

But as for the rest, I would advise running a Repair on the game using that top button on the right side of the launcher. If that doesn't work, maybe a complete reinstall can fix those glitches which might be caused by corrupted files.

Oh thanks. Forgot about that repair button. Ill do it anyway but I figured out what was causing these problems. For me at least this fixed them immediately everything i described.. I knew it was not normal.

Long story short. The install guide says you can change your language settings back to english in language for non-unicode programs (I was lazy and never did that part of the directions as to why my game worked for so long). After the update I remembered that and figured Id change it back to english like the guide had said..

Having your language set to english in the language for non-unicode programs setting is what was causing all the problems. Once I changed it back to how I had it set to chinese (taiwan) as prior to installing it. Everything works perfectly now. The guide made a mistake because having the language set in the unicode chinese (taiwan) obviously is needed for the game to work in some aspects.

Id be interested to see if it works for anyone else at least their quest log working the way it should. If your like me and follow directions to the T I bet your language is set back to english (like the guide told you to but its wrong) and thats why you experience those glitches, the quest log resetting being one of them.

Yay. No more re-ticking my quest constantly to see their progress and no more weird glitches pestering me.
