I've seen lots of Memes and YouTube comments and I want to know is this show actually good because I'm 17 year old boy and it would seem awkward if I got caught watching it. I mean I like kid shows like "Adventure Time" on a serious level but my little pony isn't it for little girls

It's seriously a good show -- trust me on this. If you've ever enjoyed a show like The Powerpuff Girls, this is probably going to appeal to you. It's definitely a kid's show in spirit, but there's plenty to appeal to older demographics, especially the characters. The plots tend to be relatively predictable, but they're not bad.

If you're curious about whether or not you'll like the show, I recommend watching the first two episodes and deciding for yourself. The season 2 premier is probably the best the best thing in the series thus far, at least, in my opinion anyhow.

I think you'll probably enjoy it if you open up to it a little and give it a chance. It's just one of those series with a surprisingly universal appeal.

Yea I see that meme more often than I want to and I personally think it is completely stupid, in my opinion. I watched the pilot episode after hearing about it and I could understand why people would like it for it IS an ok show, but really the only thing going for it is character development and besides that, it is nothing really special. The show is overrated by too many bias supporters of the show and I would rather spend my time watching FullMetal Alchemist.

YouTube is a good place to start.

I think the thing is, you seem to be more of a gritty kind of person. There are more reasons to like it than simply character development. Several episodes have been spent completely deconstructing the very nature of the show, such as the ones with Discord and the one where Twilight Sparkle flips out. If all you've watched is a handful of episodes, you probably don't know about that, though.

But if you're into stuff like Fullmetal Alchemist, this probably isn't the sort of show for you. It's a series for people who people who are more apt to enjoy lighthearted series.

The reason I probably wouldn't know is because it wasn't intresting enough to keep me on board for longer than one episode.

While I haven't seen much of the show (due to laziness lol) I will admit that I'm a big enough of the series to be considered a "brony." It's simple, yet at the same time very humorous and it sticks to the point of whatever point its currently focused on.

I can't stand the show, but I know everyone else loves it. Youtube is the best place to watch it, unless you want to torrent it, and it doesn't matter what you liked before this. Ask half of 4Chan. Most of them are probably into stuff like Higurashi for porn, and still probably love MLP.
