I didnt mean anything about moding the server files or anything o.o
I just meant a client sided way to hide ur weaps , as in have them equipped but have them not use any texture for example , im guessing the scouter hide option works the same way since if i check it , everyones scouter gets 'removed' so what dose that have to do with the server files ?o.o

Anybody figured out how to make the game not crash with the edited pak files? Keeping the file size the same doesn't work for me.

lol It actually worked. Just switch out level 15 charging effect for what level your pants are and there you go.

i did that too then i delete some spaces to make same size but crash

Well there's your problem. You essentially ruined one of the scripts. Here's the file

All you have to do is change the 15 in <charging_effect level="15"> to what your armor level is.

You can also change the upgrade effect so that you have the lightning that appears around your pants if you change the 15 in <upgrade_effect level="15" race="HUMAN" gender="FEMALE" adult="TRUE" equip_type="PANTS"> to what again your armor level is.

Make sure it's under human_adult and not human_child.

It seems to have stopped me from logging in... The game does not crash I just can't log in. The server thought I downloaded a new client, and when I hit Start it had me accept the ToS again, and then does not load. It then highlights my username.

I'm gonna tinker with it a bit more.

Maybe reinstall? Seems like the best option or you could just patch the game again.

I think I actually prefer the +14 charging effect.

That's where I've been messing with it. You could still edit it. You're pretty much only allowed to edit about 3 or 4 lines before the game starts to crash though.

Think you can post a file with +4 pants for +15 aura? See if it works... I want to know if I'm simply doing it wrong or if DBO just hates me.
