I figured I'd ask here since there are a fair number of tech savvy people on this forum.

I was playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion yesterday when the game froze up. When I exited the game, everything seemed peachy keen... until I decided to put my laptop into hibernation. When I started it up today, the size of everything on my desktop increased to the point of absurdity, and it's very difficult to navigate my web browser and the like.

It's like this immediately after I exit out of the game normally, but it usually reverts to its typical size after a few seconds, so I never think anything about it.

I've got some homework that needs to be done on a computer, so fixing this problem soon would be of my best interest. It's a reading assignment with an online textbook, and just looking at this screen is killing my eyes. There's obviously rep in it for anyone who can help me out a little here. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a resolution issue.

I've tried messing around with the resolution. This appears to be the lowest I can go with it.

Change the resolution back to what it was before

I've messed around with the resolution a little, and I've managed to get it partially fixed... but I still can't remember what the resolution was before. None of the resolutions available seem to fit the bill. :/

After some more messing around, I think I've finally got the screen resolution back to normal. Thanks for everyone who put up with me on this. I really appreciate it. ^^;
