I started playing DBO like five days ago, got the item in all my 4 characters, after I used my first one yesterday, I felt / feel lost in the game. But yes, as Vall said NO quests are skipped. Its like you granted a wish and you just automaticlly lvl to 33 and that's all.
I agree that you feel a lil bit lost, cause you must skip a whole zone and move to the one with the beach...Nevertheless it's a good leap...
