Stared only last week or so! I watched the first episode. Animations is good quality. Stoked to watch the series again!

I was waiting for this remake to start, I kinda forgot about it. Can't wait for more episodes to come out. :D

It has indeed. Only 2 episodes so far. lol. I hate this waiting every week thing. Haha.

Yes, but it's going faster. I just watched those 2 episodes, they're almost at the exam already, and it's been just 2 episodes. I believe it wasn't this fast in the original show, if memory serves me well, what happened within these 2 episodes, happened throughout 5 episodes in the original show.

So the show is going twice as fast now, they probably want to reach the point where they stopped on the original run, and go past it. I just hope they don't rush it too much.

You are correct. I'm re-watching the old version so I can spot differences in this new series. I'm on the 4th episode and they are just coming to the cabin.

I wonder if they will include the OVAs in the series this time...

Well, I just hope they get to, and past greed island and all that stuff. Where the last OVA finished. I really want to see Gon's transformation in the anime, and how he develops further. :3

It seems to slow down after they start the Hunter Exam. I watched the 3rd episode, and they introduced Hisoka, and Killua.

I watched it, too. It's still fast, though. I'm pretty sure they will come to the cooking part of the exam in next episode. I hope, at least. I really wish they just continued it, where they stopped, but since they improved the animation and everything, I guess it's worth the wait.

I don't know if it will get to the cooking, I feel it may end right before the cooking. I'm quite glad about the remake, the new quality of animation is a definite plus.
