I am turtle, and I kinda kill stuff fast. Just hit rate buff, grab a bunch of monsters, 5-12, and kameha. Usually they all die but sometimes you miss one or two that's when discs are useful. I'm lvl 51 and highest crit I've seen is 9.8k on my kameha.
