Guys it seems being a bug in the update.

This is the error: [ASSERT] No PackData Research Client Root Resource

This will help u guys:

1. Delete all ur internet cash datas.
2. Repatch it, (Run it as administrator) when patching.
3. If the update doesn't work, release and renew ur IP-adress.

1. Go to START>Run> type in CMD.
2. type in ipconfig /release then ENTER. After the release u will be disconnected, again type in ipconfig /renew then ENTER.
3. After the releasing and renewing session type in ( again in the CMD ) ipconfig /flushdns then ENTER.
4. Run the DBO Launcher as administrator, right click > Run As Administrator.


Note:
If this didn't help, Go to C:\Program Files\DBO_CT_TW\user delete all those files and try again to login.

Holy ****, that wouldn't be funny. And I tried my cousins US account and it couldn't login either... We gotta know who IS able to login and where they live... Just to confirm this.

I'm in Europe btw

Im in US and im not able too do either

The game patches, gives me an error and then lets me start the exe... I try to login, and I get an error with a line in red letters. Now, I can't play and I don't even know why... Everytime I open up the launcher it starts redownloading the patch over and over. Did they screw something up with the new patch or is it my problem?

I had this same thing. Run your patcher in Administrator mode. It fixed it for me.

IT DIDNT FIX **** ! god ****ing damn i can' t start the launcher at all i don' t even get to the patch screen.
i wiped the **** outta my pc with CClean and nothing, i tried the steps over there and nothing, admin or not it doesnt make any difference.

what the **** ?

first of all calm down guy second of all I am in US and it alows me to log into my account I havent tryed to play the game yet because I am in school and cnat just open it in the middle of my passing periode but I will later so it works for loging in for me that I know

nope i got the same problem too what the hell is goin on?

This was for the people who couldn't resolve the problem with running as Administrator.

i have the same exact problem as above nothing works running as admin the simplepatcher does not work (it literally wont work i get a error) IS IT JUST MAINTENANCE? if it is there was maintenance yesterday. i hope someone can fix it
