I remember when my Dad bought my dog back in 2004. I love that dog and i thought it was my favorite present.

I'm a bit of a pretentious pet owner, and I honestly hope that your dad didn't get you that dog as a sort of surprise present. People seem to do that all the time, and oftentimes they realize in hindsight that the kids aren't particularly good with animals. My mother's malamute was also a Christmas present, but we have a small house and the poor thing had to stay outside where the neighborhood kids would taunt him. It's best to spend a long while thinking about what kind of pet would be best for you rather than having someone spring a dog or cat on you.

That being said, my own pet was considered a Christmas present by my mother, but she was bought about three months before Christmas, as it would be too cold to bring her home later in the year, and reptiles can be difficult to find for sale in the winter, as most are born in the spring or summer and sold in summer and fall.

She's a leopard gecko, a little over five years old at the moment. Here's a picture.

I suppose other than her, I remember getting my first Pokemon game (Silver Version) during Christmas 2002. (though I had borrowed and played through all of the games prior to that)

My mom got me a movie-styled Starscream from the Hunt for the Decepticons toyline last year. It's definitely one of the better pieces in my collection. I'd imagine that was the Masterpiece toy, in which case it's really not something that's recommended for kids because they're so delicate. They're one of those things that are collectors items for a reason.

Probably my best gift was way back when in 2000. Got the Pokemon 2000 movie along with ~50 booster packs and Pokemon Silver.

Of course I still believed in Santa back then so it was Epic.

You mean Santa isn't real?!

I've gotten boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for a few years because my dad's a card collector and likes to buy them wholesale. I haven't opened them and I'm wondering what to do with them at the moment.

I'd hold onto them. Even just a few years ago old Pokemon cards in good condition netted hundreds of dollars --could've sold my Charizard for ~$340 if it hadn't been handled so poorly when I was younger -- so if Yu-Gi-Oh follows the trend then they'll be worth some decent money soon. Of course people who play competitively will still pay hundreds for certain cards now, so it may be worth just checking a few of the boxes to see what all you have.

Ofc santa isnt real lmao
Its ur parents that put the presents into a sack then they do it infront of the door and someone else go knock hard and runs away but ur parents or others buy it for u
And before the final day u get ur presents u get stuff in ur shoes that stays infront of the furnace

And for me i dont really have a favorite present , maybe meeting my friend or that my cousin been born can too be considered as a present

They're more recent than the older packs. Pretty sure these are from 2009 or something. I had a friend who liked playing with them a for a while and had recently got into the hobby, so I was trying to build a deck to play him. I've actually got a collection of all of the holofoil rare cards from the first booster packs (Jungle/Fossil) in near-mint condition, including the Charizard. These days, I tend to enjoy collecting toys and comic books more, and I'd wager it has something to do with the thrill of the hunt -- trying to track down exactly what you're looking for and not digging through piles and piles of undesirable cards. It's good fun to hit up a comic shop every time I go on vacation in the hopes of finding the back issues I'm looking for. Spending money on things I don't like with no way of reselling them? Not so much.
