alright. i have uninstalled it (deleted the folder and all contents of DBO), and re-installed it multiple times. I've had a variety of frustrations. when i re-install it, it doesn't seem to do anything. i don't see the DBO folder anywhere. and sometimes when i tried deleting everything it would tell me that i can't do it for some reason. i don't have permission or something...
(Note at this point i do believe i finnaly have everything of it deleted)
Now i'm trying to re-install it again, and i get a window saying:
"DefaultFeature
DefaultComponent
C:\Program Files (x86)\DBO_CT_TW\GameGuard.des
Access is denied"
Im going to keep trying uninstalling and re-installing, but in the meantime any ideas?
New update: i got a different error now. lol "C:\Program Files (x86)\DBO_CT_TW\GameGuard.des
Access is denied (0x5)"

I'm having the EXACT same problem. I uninstalled it and deleted all traces of it but when i try to re-install it does nothing. The installation just has ?????? once i click the only option which is ?????? it does nothing but go away.

I've noticed now that my computer seems to re-create the DBO folder after i restart it. still having no luck in fixing this issue for the moment. and i just got done installing the torrent, so i'ma try again...
Edit: oh and the folder sometimes has some contents in it,(their random) but it'll have like 2 files in it. Also, it seems like the installation skips the first page (the page where you have 3 options: install/repair/uninstall) and goes straight to, well installing i'd have to guess.
--------------------------
Updated part:
Well, i've done all that i could think of. i'm now at the point where "game initialized failed" appears. but unfortunately the guide that has solutions for that hasn't done it for me. I can't say what the problem is, but everything seems to point towards game Guard. if i re-install the game, it'll put all the files there for one split second, and then they all vanish except for 2. one of them being game guard. and i have to move the entire folder to my desktop before i can delete it for re-install. No matter how many times i repeat this process, the end result seems to be the same. If i miraculously find a fix, i'll post it here in case someone else encounters this issue. but for the time being, im screwed until then, or unless someone else can help me with this issue.

Ok, apparently i fixed my problem just by choosing a different download folder.. i don't know how well this will work for others. and i don't know how stable it is. but so far it seems to have worked.
I'm able to apply the patch and everything. though because i chose a different download folder, it doesn't have its normal DBO folder. instead it nested itself in the folder i chose. so basically if this works for you and you do this, it'll probably look like:
C:\Program files\localize etc.. (it skips the DBO folder cause there isn't one)
hope this helps. if i was unclear in any way let me know and ill rephrase it.

Your welcome
Still best to delete everything in the old folder if you haven't done so already, don't want 2 files conflicting with each other (just a precaution. i'm not tech savy so i wouldn't know if this is possible)
Hope it helps people out.
