Most of the in-game music for DBO was pretty crap in my opinion but some were also very soothing and such. I would like to take in some suggestions for the music that should be played in the game on the private servers. NOTE the music cannot have lyrics in it. It has to be something an anime would have in it. I'm currently choosing the DragonBall Z OST's that I think would fit very nicely in the game. I wanna have different music for different instances in the game.

I would rather refrain from using Official OSTs considering that's another Copyright nightmare just waiting to happen.

I didn't find the music to be that bad, it was quite nice really.

Speaking of copyright, DBO's login screen music was from pkmn.

i mean i have no hard evidence but load up pkmn soul silver on an emulator and you should hear the tune. maybe dbo's is slightly different but if it is it isnt much. i started a thread on it a few days ago. just remember if ou emulate it and dont own the game you have 24 hours till it must be deleted. =)

if ya got a high end android you should look into DraStic if youre into that stuff. its like $8 bucks. its probably worth it seeing as how it plays DS games better than most pc's. the dude who coded it is a genius. but i cant support paying for an emulator even if it is an amazing feat in technology.

i think you guys are focusing on silly things here, music in the game isn't going to matter if you can't convince ntl to either sell the host files and rights to the game to another game company or release them to us for use.

why not focus or either setting up a talk with ntl to see if they are actually willing to sell the rights to dbo, then maybe speak to a gaming company " of your choice " if they would be intrested in buying dbo but put togather a few ideas what you would like to see implamented into the game and what they could do to make it better. if you can get this arranged while the game is still running they can have a look at the game first hand.

that is just my thoughts.

Where would we get the money from?

I don't think we could get in much trouble with Copyright because this is going to be a non-profit project. I think we're planning on taking donations, other than that we aren't really asking players to pay to play.

This is just an idea. The main premise here is to see what soundtracks players enjoy and want to add to the Private Servers if possible. With Original OST from DBZ we can give a more DragonBall Z feeling to the game and that's why we're all here. If this game wasn't based of DragonBall ... most of us wouldn't even play it.
