This new version offers an additional 3,700 translations, adds a few new options, and fixes a number of bugs.

You can download and read more about the new version here: http://dbocom.com/tools/english-patch/

By additional 3700, do you mean the original amount of translations from the last thread, (3091)+3700, or 609 more?

~3,700 more than what was distributed along with version 2.0. The new translations.txt file has just about 11,000 lines of text.

Tested and seems to be working fine on my end (no boxes checked, in my case). Thank you~

Using the "Export..." option, it should also be possible to Google translate (or some other machine translation) the entire game quite easily. Some translators like to mess with some of the formatting though, and so you might need to fix things up a bit afterwords.

That translation can then be used as an alternate translation, for if there's a line that has no proper translation.

from what i see, it translates some things like the popo stone in towns, the skill names in quests and other things of the sort. its not much more than before, but going back through the beginning quests like i am right now is cool with the new patch!

It will create the files in your DBO install folder.

I've made some really minor changes and re-uploaded version 2.1. The only change is to the names of all of the different translations.txt files.

Instead of having alternate_translation, prefered_translations,... it's now translations_alternate, translations_ preferred. This way, the files won't be spread out all over the DBO install folder.
