I followed the step by step for the Eng patcher but when I run the game the launcher starts downloading more files and takes an hour to apply them. What am I doing wrong?
did you put the english patch in the dbo_ct_tw folder before starting DBO? if so then you messed up dbo. Re-install and try to play dbo then apply english patch after you are able to play.
Hmmm Ive installed DBO to my E:// drive. It didnt create a single folder (as youd expect ) but splurdged all the files over the drive mixed around my other folders. I installed the patcher there, ran it then when i start the game it redownloaded the old files.
The folder you mention is the folder the patcher extracts to correct? I copy pasted the files out of that into my install directory.
EDIT: since reapplying the eng patcher after the redownload all has worked correctly. Thankyou.
make sure its installed in your programs (or Programsx64 or whatever) folder. But when the game is done make sure you find all of the items for dbo and make a folder in your programs folder called DBO_CT_TW (idk which version you're playing but if its Hong Kong change the TW to HK) then move them in there, dbo should work. Thanks for the tip. Id love to tidy the files up (TW version btw). I just have to be sure I grab all the files i need.
