More than one year after its release, Dragon Ball is finally leaving Korea and heading for Taiwan. Just today, Cayenne Entertainment-owned gaming portal "Wasabii" has released an introductory webpage for their upcoming version of Dragon Ball Online which you can find here:

An official Taiwanese Facebook group for the game has also been created:

In addition, the sign-ups for the closed Taiwanese beta (which will occur sometime this summer) have also began today. Permission to enter the beta may be acquired a few different ways, some of which are open to foreigners while others are not.

April 22, 2011 Update: There's currently an event that will be going on in which you can get a beta code for simply logging into your Facebook account and then posting a message. Kidstone has written a guide on exactly what to do here, but to participate you must first create a Wasabii account

This is awesome since making the account is a lot EASIER then Korean one. I am still stuck in getting Korean cell number to play and yet it has been a good effort to get trough here, that's why some people won't get on DBO TW or maybe they will play both. Also Cit are you going to play this version aswell?

I've just finished writing up a guide on how to create a Wasabii account here:

There is a version of the account called the "Full" account which requires ID and cellphone authentication (just like the Netmarble accounts), but I don't know if that will be required to play DBO.

Also Cit are you going to play this version aswell?

I don't play any version right now and I'm not sure if I'll be playing this version. It really depends on how open this version is for foreigners.

Hm, that could be a concern for many if it's required to have a similar authentication procedure. However, it's good to finally have a date for a release outside of Korea. However, I don't think I'll be prompted to leave until there's a Japanese release.

I am also wondering what does this means? I am just curious about it

I saw two interesting things : agro system in the party window and gray mobs names that are lower levels/weaker than our character as well as the 3 Test Server on the Korean version.
They(Taiwan) got close beta now with update so soon should we expect our update on Korean version. ;]
